Two measures for one product. A Circularity Score tracks how much end-of-life material goes back into production. Cost to Earth measures the waste a product leaves in the country where it's sold, and how many generations it takes to break down.
One summer, a teenage boy sets out on a five-hour bus ride, with his mother's permission and money in his pocket. He wants to find the kindergarten friends he still remembers, though he hasn't seen or spoken to them in almost ten years.
Along the way he tells his granny's stories and shares his take on politics, the history of the land, and his parents' idea of "the perfect couple". It is set in a time before mobile phones, when a traveller who arrived uninvited never quite knew what was coming.
